About TSM

TSM has been designing and manufacturing strain gauges and strain based sensors since 1959. During this time it has become the market leader in photolithography and etching of twin film sensors for pressure, force, strain and temperature measurement. We can supply strain gauges for all applications in stress analysis and transducer work.

An extensive range of strain gauges are available as standard, together with comprehensive accessories and specially formulated adhesives for the trouble free preparation and bonding of precision strain gauges. As specialist designers, TSM can also customise and build to specific requirements.

All products at TSM are manufactured in the UK in our purpose built, air-conditioned unit, using the latest photolithography processes and micromachining techniques, all housed in three state-of-the-art clean rooms. All processes conform to ISO 9001-2000 procedures.

Our experience in the design and manufacture of precision strain gauges gives us a leading edge for customers requiring a strain gauge bonding and installation service. For more than 40 years we have been the market leader in the contract bonding of foil and semi- conductor strain gauges, both in-house or on-site. We have a team of BSSM qualified technicians working to BSSM, ISO 9001-2000 and MIL-I-45208 approved procedures.
